Today, living trusts are popular vehicles for the transfer of assets from one generation to the next. Oftentimes, the individual chosen to be executor is burdened with tremendous responsibility at a very stressful time. If the trust calls for real estate divestiture, Horizon View Properties can help. We have developed a system and support network designed to alleviate much of the time, headache, and stress associated with selling a decedent’s primary residence, income property, or land. Our services include: Inventory all household and garage items. Arrange for the purchase of valuable items. Arrange for the pick up of items chosen for donation. Separate recyclables, hazardous waste, foodstuffs, household supplies, and refuse. Ensure all items are properly deposited to the appropriate agencies and charities. Perform minor repairs as necessary to improve the marketability of the property; (up to $500.00). Have the house professionally cleaned. Stage the house for resale. This may include the use of existing pieces of furniture or items sourced from our inventory. Maintain landscaping until the house is sold.

These benefits are provided for the same service fee other agents charge as “normal” or “customary.” In addition, you are enlisting the expertise of professionals who can guide you through the sales process and are familiar with the requirements unique to trust sales.
